๐Ÿ BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA ๐Ÿ

This is essentially a complete re-make of my oldest avatar base, the Capricornian. I've had this in the backlog since summer of last year and forgot about it.

It has 2D expressions and visemes for a toony look!

It is currently PC only due to Quest's restriction of shaders that use transparency/cutout textures.
The Quest version will, therefore, need to have its expressions remade into 3D planes.
Once it's ready, I'll notify followers and buyers.

Try a demo version of the avatar in this world: https://vrchat.com/home/launch?worldId=wrld_414ad724-682f-406a-b3fe-aec8d86cf7f7

Unity Version 2022.3.22f1

Applying Extra Clothing With Blender For Beginners

(If you're unfamiliar with the process, make a Unitypackage backup of your goat assets and Unity scene)
(This tutorial does not apply to accessories that are only attached to one bone, you can just slap those onto the associated bone in Unity)
(This tutorial doesn't rely on third-party addons. If you've used the CATS plugin or something else to merge clothing before, you won't need this tutorial)

  1. Import target goat FBX file from the Unity project
  2. Import desired clothing FBX file
  3. Navigate to the top right corner of Blender, Right Click on the Armature of the clothing (likely titled Armature.001) and Delete, keeping the mesh (will most likely be called Body or name of clothing)
  4. CTRL + Left Click the remaining clothing mesh, then the goat Body mesh. Now both should be selected.
  5. Hover your mouse over to the 3D view, then CTRL + J
  6. The clothing should be merged with the goat's body, now you can export and replace the target goat FBX at File > Export > FBX
  7. When exporting your FBX, make sure that Apply Scalings is changed from All Local to FBX All and to disable Add Leaf Bones (these are all found in the export window)
  8. If materials get flipped in Unity (making the textures of your goat appear in the wrong places), drag and drop the corresponding Materials onto your goat in the scene to fix this.
  9. Optional: If you want the clothing mesh to be separate from the goat body mesh (allowing you to toggle it in Unity on and off when needed), don't do step 4-5. Instead, Shift + Drag the clothing mesh onto the goat Armature. Select the clothing mesh and locate the wrench icon (called modifier properties) in the vertical menu below. Click the Object bar located there and assign Armature. Now you can export as mentioned previously.
